Family owned and operated since opening in 1947, Eastover is a casual, all-inclusive recreational resort catering to singles, couples, families, and most recently, corporate functions. Located in Lenox, which is known worldwide for its' culture, theatre, music, and museums, Eastover is still informal and unpretentious. What started out as a singles summer resort has changed to this recreational resort that provides fun for all guests: children, adults, and corporate visitors. With breathtaking views of Mount Greylock and October Mountain, Eastover spans many acres of natural beauty in the Berkshires.

At Eastover you can do as much or as little as you like, inside and out. The emphasis at Eastover is on fresh, clean air, wide-open spaces, and a fun-filled, stress free environment for our guests. We have fun the old fashioned way - we make it ourselves!

Multi-millionaire Harris Fahnestock originally owned Eastover's Mansion. He had it built as a summer home for his family of five and his servant staff of sixty-five. When George Bisacca purchased the property in 1946 he converted the estate into a wonderfully casual and carefree resort and his family has carried on George's dream to this very day. One exciting addition that has been made is the Eastover Resort Conference Center. Eastover provides an ideal location for a low stress, distraction-free corporate event. Comfortable and flexible meeting space plus our varied resort activities combine to fill the needs of any size company.

Active Days and Exciting Nights

Eastover is a versatile, year-round resort with exciting activities that take advantage of each season. There are so many activities and facilities at Eastover you may not know where to begin. Don't worry, we'll get you started in the right direction and we'll keep you active throughout your stay. Upon checking in you will receive a detailed social schedule and you are welcome to take part in as much or as little as you like.

All Inclusive, Affordable, Action-PackedÖEastover

Eastover is all-inclusive which means you pay one rate per person, per night that includes: *Lodging, *Meals, *Entertainment, *Use of all recreational facilities as well as our daily social schedule of activities. Lodging
Please note that Eastover's rooms are country basic. Accommodation type will be determined based upon availability at the time of reserving. Our reservations department will work with you to find accommodations that are right for your family or group.

You should know that there are No Televisions In The Rooms. Eastover's whole concept of being a recreational resort eliminates the need for televisions. There are two televisions located on the resort in common areas. One is in the Mansion Library and the other is in the American Heritage Room.

There is also No Air Conditioning at Eastover. You read correctly, no air conditioning. Don't worry we do have fans in each room. And when it's really hot, we suggest a dip in the pool. The Berkshires tend to cool down a bit at night and the temperature is pretty good for sleeping.

Meals
The meals at Eastover begin with dinner the night of arrival and end with lunch (for family stays) and brunch (for singles and couples stays) on the departure day. Sodas, juices, and milk are also included.

Meals are different each day of the week and are often served outside when weather permits. There are many different types of menus served. During your stay you may find any combination of the following:

Sit Down Dinner for Adults or Kid Friendly Buffets
Salad Bars and Sundae Bars
Outdoor Barbeques or Poolside Buffets
Sunday Brunch Buffets (for singles and couples)

Late Night Pizza at Tally Ho

Eastover is a BYOB resort. By providing your own liquor, you'll save plenty on beverages. Sodas and juices are included with the rate and we even provide the cups and the ice.

Entertainment
If you still have energy left after an active day at Eastover, prepare to head to Tally Ho or the Carriage Room for an evening of dancing. Eastover may be a BYO resort but during Happy Hour each day and at Tally Ho each evening we provide the entertainment. The entertainment may include any combination of the following:
Live Band
Disc Jockey
Sing-a-long in the stalls
Karaoke
The entertainment may also include games for kids of all ages.

On our couples and singles weekends plan on dancing the night away at Tally Ho and you're even welcome to continue the party into the wee hours of the morning listening to the Juke Box in the Carriage Room (know as the "Red Room") that never closes.
